Oakbrook Estates is now over 20 years old. New expenses for maintenance and repairs have started this year (Sign Maintenance, tree removal from the Drainage Pond, Swale maintenance, etc) and more expenses are anticipated starting in 2020 including Drainage Pond maintenance. Many of these expenses are thousands of dollars. The Association must also maintain a reasonable reserve for emergencies.
The Covenants require Association dues of no less and no more than $75.00 annually (See Covenants in the Member Section of this site).
We have used our reserves and with the new increased costs, and the anticipated future costs, the Board of Directors has voted to increase the annual dues to match the Covenants required $75.00 annually effective 2020.
